About
HOW PROGRESSIVE, music that got us through our Hialeah and Miami Lakes years, 1984-1991. Oh, can you still smell the vinyl, the cassettes?Following
Siouxsie & the Banshees - Painted Bird
‘your hitchcock carrion…’ song gives me a rush whenever i hear it and this performance is top-notch… note baby robert smith on guitar :)
Depeche Mode, A Question Of Time (via zx6rman)
I used to have this on VHS! Recorded as the “Montreaux Festival or “Live in Montreaux.” Before the suntans, the heroin, the stomach tumor.
Alphaville - Big In Japan (via erniebogie)
God, he looks like Orchid.
I never even imagined them in the same universe, much less the same room.
Smith/Morrissey
“Stories of Old” - Depeche Mode
Oh, the birth of adolescent cynicism: “I wouldn’t sacrifice anything at all to lo-ove …”
I am long past being a devoted Depeche Mode fan. Violater, despite being a good album, marked a permanent move away from the clangy, industrial roots I was madly in love with. I really think this is one of my favorites off of one of my favorites: Some Great Reward.

“Modern Love”- David Bowie
“Modern Love” by David Bowie from Let’s Dance (1983).
I hate this song. April Fool’s.
Something in My House - Dead or Alive…
21!!!!
Buffalo Stance - Neneh Cherry
Sheer pop/rap ebullience…
